What was I thinking?
I used to run. When I was, oh, 23 or 28 or so. No seriously--just one of those who got caught up in the running fad in the 70's. I ran on my last day of college and it felt like a victory lap. I ran a couple of races, not too competitively, more just "for fun". I remember feeling like I was going to throw up at the end of the Clyde's race in 1982. That was before the science of "hydration" was invented. Then, I moved to Pennsylvania.
